Wireless Handset products in Akihabara "Electric Town", Tokyo - July 2005
The Akihabara district of Tokyo is also known as "Electric Town".
Although not part of an "exhibition", cellular wireless handset photo-research was carried out in the Akihabara "Electric Town" during a visit to Tokyo in July 2005 (for the ExpoComm Wireless Japan exhibition).

All four Japanese network operators (NTT DoCoMo, KDDI, Vodafone and Tu-Ka) have major outlets in Akihabara and there are also numerous dealers selling the current range of cellular handsets.
