The five day long ExpoComm China 2004 in Beijing was a major source of information on cellular wireless handset manufacturers in China. Many of the major domestic manufacturers were present as well as network operators China Mobile and Unicom.

There were cellular wireless handset displays from many companies including Amoi, Dbtel, DT Mobile, Hitachi, Huawei, LG, Mitsubishi, Motorola, NEC, Nokia, NTT DoCoMo, Panasonic, Pantech, Samsung, Sanyo, Siemens, SK Telecom, Sony Ericsson, TD-SCDMA Industry Alliance, Telsda, UT Starcom, VK Mobile, Wonu Telecom and ZTE.
