CeBIT 2005 was held in Hanover in March 05. It is one of the largest telecom shows in the world.
CeBIT is Europe's (and the world's) largest annual telecoms event. CeBIT 2005 saw the launch of many new 3G cellular wireless handsets.

There were major displays by Amoi, Asus, Aux, BBK Electronics, BenQ, Blackberry (RiM), Casio, Daewoo, E-Plus, Fujitsu, Gotive, Grundig Mobile, Hagenuk, Haier, Huawei, Hyundai, Kyocera, LG, Mio, MobilCom, Motorola, NEC, Nokia, Novatel Wireless, NTT DoCoMo, O2, PalmOne, Panasonic, Pantech, Sagem, Sanyo, Sharp, Siemens, Sierra Wireless, Sony Ericsson, T-Mobile, TCL & Alcatel, Toshiba, Wonu Telecom and Vodafone.
