SVIAZ 2005 in April 05 was held in the Krasnaya Presnya exhibition centre in Moscow.
SVIAZ is the major annual telecoms exhibition in Russia which brings together all the major cellular handset suppliers as well as some cellular network operator MTS and major dealers such as Divizion. SVIAZ is a good place to see the several brands of cellular handset only available in the Russian market such as Voxtel with 11 different models and Skyvox also with 11.

Korean manufacturers LG (54) and Samsung (47) both had large displays. Panasonic showed 17 different models. Chinese manufacturers Huawei (8), Soutec (3) and ZTE (13) were also present. Taiwanese manufacturers Pantech (36) and DNET (19) both had major displays of cellular wireless handsets.
